BOXED Franklin Mint 1984 Sterling Silver & Ruby Mother and Baby Birds Mother's Day Necklace
This vintage necklace by the Franklin Mint is made from sterling silver and it’s set with a genuine ruby. The design is lovely, depicting a mother bird feeding her two chicks in the next. It’s stamped for silver, with the Franklin Mint “FM” maker’s initials and the date of 1984. It hangs on an 17” sterling chain and comes in its original presentation box.
With the bale, the total length is 3.9cm and it’s 2.3cm wide. The chain is 17”. Weighs 5.7 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Just a bit of age related tarnish to the silver but overall it looks barely worn (if ever!) and the box is in amazing condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
