Complete Charm Bracelet on 1914 Sterling Silver Watch Chain - 63 Grams
This charm bracelet is made from sterling silver. It features a mix of antique and vintage charms which have been fitted on part of an antique silver watch chain. The watch chain features a curb link, with a lion stamp for english sterling silver on every link, and a dog clip fastener, which is fully hallmarked from the Birmingham Assay Office, with the date letter for 1914 and the maker’s initials B&B. It’s packed with charm including a rose which opens to reveal a bee, a church which contains a stanhope of the Lord’s prayer (looks through the little lens in the tower and you see the the prayer magnified inside), an opening royal carriage with people inside, an I Love You spinner, an Islamic carved carnelian seal and a large religious medal. Some charms are stamped as silver, some are not; I have NOT tested them all so they’re sold as white metal.
Measures about 8” in length. The chain links are 0.5cm wide across the front. It weighs 63 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The puffy kettle and engraved heart have dinks from past use but everything else is in good order. The clasp works perfectly and has a good spring to it still. Just has the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
