Vintage Paul Vincze Sterling Silver Sagittarius Pendant

£245.00
sold out

This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver and it’s by renowned Hungarian artist and medallist Paul Vincze (1907 - 1994). As with most of his work, the design is very Art Deco in style. It depicts a kneeling naked archer, reminiscent of a greek god, holding a taut bow with a quiver of arrows at his side. It’s signed on the front and stamped “Sterling Silver” and “P. Vincze, London” on the back, and there’s a soldered closed ring at the top for hanging. These were produced in 1962 and they are extremely rare!

With the bale, the total length is 4cm and it’s 3.2cm wide. Weighs 12 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
