Antique 1903 9ct Rose Gold Curb Bracelet with Heart Padlock Clasp - 8" Long
This antique bracelet is made from 9ct rose gold. It features a curb link chain with an opening padlock clasp and there’s a safety chain fitted which connects the padlock to the 2 ends of the chain. The curb is hollow, but sturdy, so it doesn’t feel flimsy as some hollow link chains can. Every link is stamped “9c” (some stamps are worn) and the padlock has a full UK hallmark on the back, from the Birmingham Assay Office, with the date letter for 1903.
It measures 8” long, which is an unusually generous size for an antique bracelet, and the links are 0.8cm wide across the middle. It weighs 12.6 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The clasp clicks shut and stays closed perfectly. There are no dinks to any of the links. Just has the usual light marks and surface wear to the gold which you’d expect on an antique item.
