Victorian Silver Love Token Coin SME or MES Engraved Pendant - Canada
This antique love token pendant is made from a Victorian silver 25 cents coin. One side has been smoothed and beautifully engraved with the initials SME or MES. The other side features Victoria’s head with Canada below. I believe this coin was in circulation from 1870 to 1901.
The pendant is 3.1cm long including the bale and 2.4cm wide. It weighs 5.0 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on an antique item.
