Vintage 1971 Sterling Silver Heraldic Sea-Horse and Motto Cufflinks
These vintage cufflinks are made from sterling silver. They feature a heraldic Sea-Horse with a Latin motto beneath which reads 'Pro tanto quid retribuamus' translates as 'What shall we give back in return for so much?'. They have a full silver hallmark on the bar in the centre, from the London Assay office, with the date letter for 1971 and the maker's initials EP.
The face of each cuff measures 2.2cm across. Together they weigh 13.8 grams.
