Antique Tiny 800 Silver Patch Box with Chateau Scene and Floral Sides
This sweet antique patch box is made from 800 grade silver. The lid depicts a grand building with a turret and a bridge, over looking a river. The edges are embossed with a scrolled floral design. There are hallmarks on the rim for 800 silver, a maker’s mark (A TM F?), a gothic N or U, and another stamp which is too indistinct to read. I imagine it’s French in origin.
It measures 2.7cm wide x 0.9cm deep. It weighs 9.8 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. No dinks or damage. The hinge works perfectly.
