Victorian Glass Intaglio Wax Seal Fob "May You Possess It" Gilt Metal Pendant
This beautiful Victorian wax seal fob/pendant is made from gilded base metal. It features a black glass intaglio with a forget-me-not flower in the middle (symbolising love) and it says “may you possess it” in mirrored writing around the edge. I’ve flipped the last photo so you can see the script the right way round. The metal casing has a scalloped design around the intaglio and little shamrocks and possibly oak leaves above on the handle.
It measures 2.2cm long and 1.3cm wide. Weighs 2.8 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The intaglio is in very nice condition and the gilding shows no signs of rubbing/wear.
