1903 Sterling Silver, Bloodstone, Carnelian & Blank Seal with Lion Pendant Fob

£100.00
sold out

This Edwardian pendant is made from sterling silver. It swivels with a bloodstone on one side, then a carnelian and finally a blank silver section. The fob has a lion lying down at the top and a good sized bale for hanging. It’s fully UK hallmarked on the side of the swivel, from the Birmingham Assay Office with the date letter for 1903, and with the lion passant on the bar above.

It measures 2.8cm long with the bale and 2.2cm across the widest point. Weighs 6.3 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. The bloodstone has a hairline crack and some nibbles going down the centre but it’s still secure, with no signs of it coming out. You could get a jeweller to replace this one if you wished. Otherwise, the condition is very good with just the usual light surface marks which you’d expect on an antique item.
