This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver. It’s one of a series of Art Nouveau inspired zodiac pendants produced by the Birmingham Mint in 1980. This one depicts Leo, with a lady and lion, standing in front of a floral arch with flowers in the foreground. The detail on these is just gorgeous! The back is decorated with stars and there’s a large bale at the top. The front has a full UK Hallmark (just above the bottom edge), from the Birmingham Assay Office with the date letter for 1980 and the BM maker’s mark.

With the bale, the total length is 4.3cm and it’s 1.7cm wide. Weighs 6.3 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
