Vintage Sterling Silver with Ancient Roman Bronze Coins Bracelet

£135.00
sold out

This vintage bracelet features 7 ancient Roman bronze coin, set within sterling silver bezels, with a trigger clasp. The coins are slightly graduated in size, with the smallest near the clasp. The silversmith who made the bracelet made sure that all the emperors are aligned perfectly, so depending on how the coin was struck, some of the reverse sides sit upside-down alongside the others. The trigger clasp is stamped 925 and it fastens to a length of chai which allows the length to be adjustable from 7.5” to 8”.

The central coin is 1.7cm wide, the smaller coins on the outer edge are 1.4cm wide. It weighs 17.7 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The silver just has some very light marks, as you’d expect on a vintage piece. The coins are in good order though most show some signs of rubbing and wear, being over 2000 years old!
