Vintage/Antique Silver Locket with Etched Geometric Decoration
This vintage locket is made from solid silver. It’s decorated front and back with an etched geometric design (reminds me of a spirograph!). One side has a blank circle in the cnetre where initials could be engraved. Inside, there’s space for a picture behind the original little removable frame (I’ve added the little dragon image to demonstrate). There’s no glass present. You put a picture in the other side too, if you cut it to the right side it would stay put. It’s stamped Silver within the locket and has a small jump ring at the top for hanging.
With the jump ring at the top, the total length is 3.3cm and it’s 2.6cm wide. It weighs 7.6 grams.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Has a little crease to the silver on one side, plus some other minor marks and surface scuffing from past use. The hinge and closure are excellent and it clicks shut firmly.
