Vintage Silver Jug / Ewer Shape Perfume Bottle Pendant
This vintage pendant is made from silver. It’s in the shape of a jug or ewer and it’s designed as a perfume bottle/vinaigrette. It has a screw lid with dabber inside and a tiny, but deliberate, hole on one side - not big enough to leak out loads of perfume but enough that a tiny bit escapes throughout the day and gives you a pleasant whiff of your favourite scent. It’s unmarked but acid tests as silver (around 800 grade).
The length bot including the bale is 3cm and it’s 2.0cm across the widest point. Weighs 4 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The lid screws in but doesn’t tighten, I’m not sure if this is deliberate or not but it doesn’t detract. Otherwise, it just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage item.
