Vintage Good Luck Always/I Bring You Luck Cat Gaming Token Pendant
This vintage pendant is made from a base metal gaming token, made by the Samson Novelty Company is the 1930s. The company produced gaming machines, the sort of thing you’d see in an amusement arcade, and these tokens were used to operate the games and also sold as souvenirs. This one has a cat on one side with the words “Good Luck Always” and the back has a horseshoe and star and says “I Bring You Luck”. It’s made of gilded base metal (brass I expect) and a hole has been drilled at the top for hanging on a chain. The split ring is made from sterling silver.
Measures 2.3cm wide. Weighs 4.6 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Has some light marks/scuffs from past use but the detail is still nice and crisp.
