Antique 14-15ct Gold Padlock and Key Pendant / Charm
This antitque charm or pendant is made from 14-15ct gold. It’s shaped like a padlock hanging below an ornate key, and the lock has a pinwheel decoration on one side. It’s unmarked but acid tests as 14-15ct gold and it has quite a pink/rosey colouration. The charm is hollow, so it’s fairly lightweight, and it does have some age related wear so please read the condition report below.
The total height with the bale is 2.7cm and it’s 1.8cm across the widest point. Weighs 1.6 grams.
Condition: Good antique condition. It has some small pressure dinks throughout from past use, though these are most noticeable on the sides of the padlock and they’re reflected in the price of this rare charm. NB - The 2 small holes on the padlocks base and by the hasp are supposed to be there (to release air during the making process).
