Vintage Large 9ct Gold Tasseled Orb Working Padlock / Pendant
This vintage padlock/pendant is made from 9ct yellow gold. It’s orb shaped, with leaf and ball decoration around the top half, and a crown below with graduated foxtail chains hanging beneath. The top part opens and closes so it could be used to fasten a bracelet or necklace, but it’s so nice you could also wear it on its own as a pendant. There’s a full UK hallmark, though it’s very small and the date letter is tricky to make out, however I think it’s late 1980s or early 90s.
The total length is 4.4cm and it’s 1.4cm across the widest point. Weighs 5.4 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The shortest chain has a tiny kink but it’s nothing to worry about. Overall it just has the usual light marks and wear which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
