Antique Steel and MOP Folding Implement Tool Pendant
This antique pendant is made from steel, with mother of pearl panels riveted front and back. It’s not currently very sharp. The little bale ring at the top tests as silver.
The total length is 4.3cm with the bale when closed and it’s 1.8cm wide. It’s 6.7cm when open. Weighs 5.3 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The hinge mechanism is quite fierce, so it takes a bit of strength to open it out! There’s a little hairline cracking to the MOP around one of the rivets but this looks like it happened when the piece was made. Overall it just has the usual light marks and wear which you'd expect on an antique item.
