Victorian Silver AEI (Amity, Eternity and Infinity) Locket Pendant
This antique locket is made from sterling silver. It features an applied hand-engraved monogram of the letters AEI; this stands for amity, eternity and infinity, and represents eternal love conquering death. There’s a large bale at the top and room inside for 2 photos. The locket has no inner slips or glass, but if you cut your pics to the right size it will stay in place. It’s unmarked but acid tests as sterling.
The total length 5cm with the bale at the top. Just the main body of the locket is 3.6cm x 2.8cm. Weighs 13 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Hinge and closure work perfectly. Just has the usual marks and wear to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item.
