Antique Rolled Gold Working Whistle Pendant with Acorn Top - Very Loud!
This antique whistle pendant is made from rolled gold over brass. The top part is designed to look like an acorn’s cap with oak leaves to either side and it has this detail front and back. It’s VERY loud and gave my dog’s quite a start when I blew it near them!
The total length with the bale is 4.0cm and it’s 1.1cm across the widest point. Weighs 5.2 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. There’s a small file mark at the front (photo 4), presumably where someone once acid tested to see if it was solid gold. Otherwise it’s in nice working condition with just the usual marks and light wear which you’d expect on an antique piece.
