Antique Banded Orange Agate Heart with 15ct Fittings Pendant
This antique heart pendant is made from carved banded agate gemstone. The colours go from dark autumnal orange to creamy grey/white, in lovely clear bands; it was tricky to capture in a photo, firstly because it’s so polished and reflective, and secondly because it was quite a grey gloomy day! The fittings are unmarked but test as around 15ct gold.
The total length is 4.1cm with the ring at the top. The heart itself is 3.0cm tall and 2.7cm across the widest point. Weighs 10 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The agate has a couple of small nibbles to the edge and a little scratch/scuff in the centre on one side but they don’t detract from it being a lovely thing!
