Vintage Sterling Silver and Orthoceras Fossil Drop Pendant
This vintage pendant is made from an orthoceras fossil, within a sterling silver frame. Orthoceras were molluscs which could grow up to 14 feet long and the individual which made this fossil lived somewhere between 443-485 million years ago! It’s set into a sterling silver bezel and it’s stamped 925 on the bale..
The 6.9cm long including the bale and 1.8cm wide. Weighs 12.8 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual very light surface marks which you’d expect on a vintage item.
