Heinrich Levinger Art Nouveau 900 Silver and Carnelian Lavalier Fish Pendant
This antique pendant is by Art Nouveau designer Heinrich Lavinger, who worked in Pforzheim in around 1890. It’s made from 900 silver and set with a faceted carnelian stone in the centre, with gold fronting around the stone. To either side is a stylised dolphin or fish, with a lovely 3d drop which resembles a seed pod hanging below. It’s stamped 900 and the HL maker’s mark.
The total length 4.6cm with the bale and it’s 2.4cm wide across the front. Weighs 5.2 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on an antique item.
