1966 Vintage Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet - Padlock Clasp and 24 Charms - 80 Grams
This vintage charm bracelet is made from sterling silver. It features a solid curb link chain, with a padlock clasp and safety chain. There are 24 charms fitted including a large carriage with moving wheels, a steamboat with red paste-set wheels that also move, a silver coin from 1920, 2 different opening lighthouses, a windmill with moving sails, a millhouse with moving waterwheel and 4 other opening charms: a church, cheque book, bible and moses basket. The back of the padlock is fully hallmarked, from the Birmingham Assay Office, with the date letter for 1966, the chain also has some lion passant stamps. Many of the charms are marked as sterling or silver, some are are unmarked but they are all solid silver.
Measures about 7.25” in total length. The chain links are 0.6cm wide across the front. It weighs 80.5 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. A couple of the charms are set with tiny paste stones and have some missing (ie the steam boat and the eternity ring) . The cheque book paper inside has a little water damage but is still eligible. Overall, it just the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
