Vintage Sterling Silver Gilt and Enamel Woodpecker Pendant
This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver which has been heavily plated in 22ct gold, so it looks like solid gold. It features a handpainted enamel design on the front, of a woodpecker on a tree, with ivy leaves above and below. The back is stamped “Silver”. This is new old-stock and the mid 1980s and it is in unworn condition.
With the bale, the total length is 3.8cm and it’s 1.6cm wide. The portrait itself is 2.6cm by 1.4cm. Weighs 5.9 grams.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition - as “new old stock” it has never been worn. No damage to the enamel. The silver just has some very light storage marks here and there.
