Vintage 1970 Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet - Padlock Clasp and 6 Charms
This vintage charm bracelet is made from sterling silver. It features a solid curb link chain, with a padlock clasp and safety chain. There are 6 charms fitted including a bird claw holding a glass stone, a set of rings, an opening airplane with little trucks inside and a steam train. The back of the padlock is fully silver hallmarked, from the London Assay Office with the date letter for 1970, and every other link on the chain has the English lion passant stamp for sterling silver. Most of the charms are unmarked but they acid test as silver.
Measures about 7.5” in total length. The chain links are 0.7cm wide across the front. It weighs 31 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The padlock clicks shut perfectly. The opening plane charm also closes properly. The little eternity ring charm with red stones has a couple missing, but they could easily be replaced. Otherwise, it just the usual light wear and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
