Mappin and Webb Vintage Sterling Silver Charm Holder Pendant c.1950s
This vintage pendant is made from sterling silver and it’s by famous British maker’s Mappin and Webb. It was probably a keyring originally but these make excellent charm holders. It has a fixed bale at the top for hanging and full English hallmarks on one side. The marks are rubbed but I can make out M.W&Co Ld, The Birmingham Assay mark, the lion passant and the date letter looks like it is probably 1958.
(Other items shown in last 2 photos are for demonstration only and are not included!)
It’s 3.5cm high with the bale and 3.1cm wide. The arm of the pendant which the bale’s of your charms would need to fit over is 3mm x 2.5mm. Weighs 5.1 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Holds closed securely. Just has the usual light marks to the silver which you’d expect on vintage item.
