Vintage Silver and Marcasite Letter E Brooch

This vintage brooch is made from silver which has been rhodium plated, a very common practice for silver brooches in the 1950s and 60s. It’s in the shape of a letter E and it’s set throughout with sparkly little marcasites. It fastens with a rollover clasp and it’s stamped as being rhodium plated on the back. It’s been acid tested to confirm it is silver beneath this plating!

Measures 3.2cm x 2.0cm. Weighs 4.9 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. No missing marcasites. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on a vintage item.
