1950 Vintage Sterling Silver and Orange Enamel Scaredy Cat Brooch by Olaf Fritjof Hjortdahl, Norway
This vintage brooch is made from sterling silver and enamel. It’s shaped like a cat, with back arched, with the date 1950 below. The cat has a rich satsuma-coloured enamel, the date plaque is in white. The back is gilded and fastens with a c-clasp. It’s stamped 925S and the maker’s mark of Olaf Fritjof Hjortdahl, Norway.
Measures 2.8cm x 2.2cm. Weighs 3.3 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips to the enamel, just a few scratches when viewed under magnification.
