Antique Victorian Unusual Game Hunter with Retriever Dog Hand Engraved Bangle
This Victorian bangle is made from sterling silver. It’s engraved with an unusual scene of a hunter hidden behind a tree, shooting a bird, with his dog running to retrieve it. The detail is excellent! The bangle is signed with the maker’s initials L.E, for Lawrence Emanuel of Birmingham. It’s unhallmarked, as was common at the time but acid tests as sterling silver throughout.
Measures approx 6.5”around the inside and 3.1cm wide across the front. It weighs 35 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. The hinge and closure work perfectly. The front and back just have a few very minor pressure marks here and there, commensurate with its age.
