1974 Vintage Sterling Silver Egyptian Revival Bangle - Pharaoh, Lotus, Snake

£175.00
sold out

This vintage bangle is made from sterling silver. It features wonderful Egyptian imagery all the way around the outside, on both the front and the back. There’s Tutankhamun’s head, and if you look closely a pyramid behind him, with a lotus flower between and a pair of snakes below - this is repeated 4 times on each half of the bangle. It fastens with a push in clasp and there’s a safety chain fitted. There are full UK import hallmarks on the tongue of the clasp, from the London assay office, with the date letter for 1974 and the sponsor’s mark, RR.

It measures 6.4cm x 5.9cm across the inside and about 19cm/7.5” around the inside. It’s 2.4cm/1” wide across the front. It weighs 37 grams.

Condition: In excellent vintage condition. No dinks anywhere on the bangle, and all the detail on the imagery is crisp and sharp. The clasp clicks shut. Just has the usual very light surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you’d expect on a vintage piece.
