1978 Smaller Sterling Silver Ingot Sheffield Hallmarks Pendant on 18" Box Link Chain
Here I have a vintage sterling silver ingot pendant from 1978. It has crisp statement hallmarks on the front, from the Sheffield Assay Office. It hangs on an 18” sterling silver box link chain which is a bit more recent than the ingot.
The ingot itself, not including the bale, is 2.3cm x 0.8cm x 0.4cm. The chain is 16” and the links are 1mm wide. Together, they weigh 10.5 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. Just has the usual marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on a vintage item.
