Antique 1899 Sterling Silver and Paste Heart Charm / Pendant by Charles Horner
Here I have a Victorian sterling silver and paste charm or pendant by Charles Horner. It’s claw-set with a white paste heart, within a star embossed frame. There’s a split ring at the top for hanging and it has a full UK hallmark on the back, from the Chester Assay Office, with the date letter for 1899. The C.H maker’s initials are obscured by the setting but are partly visible.
Measures 2.2cm long with the bale ring and 1.3cm wide. Weighs 1.8 grams.
Condition: Good uncleaned antique condition. There is some surface wear and a small chip to the paste. Otherwise it’s in good order with very little wear to the silver.
