Victorian Scottish Sterling Silver Letter S Pendant - By William Marshall, Edinburgh
Here I have a Victorian sterling silver letter S pendant. It has hand engraved decoration on the front. The back has a Edinburgh hallmarks, with the young Victoria head and the initials WM which I believe are William Marshall, who’s work is displayed in the V&A. This would have originally have been a decanter label for Sherry, but today it makes a perfect pendant.
Please note: The chain in the last photos is for display and is NOT included.
Measures 3.6cm long (not including the rings at the top) and 2.8cm wide. Including the rings at the top, total length is 4.4cm. Weighs 7.4 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Just has the usual marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on an antique item.
