Antique Collection of Silver Charms on Steel Split Ring
Here I have a collection of 4 antique silver charms on a steel split ring. There’s a sterling puffy heart set with agates stones on the front and hand engraved detail around the edge. It’s stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver on the edge. Next is a silver gilt angel which is really nicely detailed for something so small! He’s unmarked but acid tests as silver. Then there’s a red coral horn of plenty, this is also unmarked but acid tested for silver on the little hinged bale. Finally there’s a silver puffy pig, hallmarked on one side for 1908, Chester Assay Office. They came to me on this steel split ring so I’m selling them as they are, all together.
To give an indication of size, the coral measures 2.5cm long (not including the bale). Combined weight is 6.3 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The green stone in the heart has a chip in the middle but otherwise, they’re all in nice order with just the usual light marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on antique items.
