Unique Art Nouveau 800 Silver Water Lily Pendant - Button Conversion

£85.00
sold out

Here I have a beautiful late Victorian 800 silver water lily pendant. It started life as a button and I’ve converted it to wear as a pendant. It has really lovely detailing with the flower, leaves and swirling buds to the side and it’s very typical of the Art Nouveau period, so dates to around 1890-1900. I’ve made a round bale for the top and I’ve given that a hammered texture which I think fits in nicely with the Art Nouveau design of the piece. It’s stamped as 800 silver on the back and the bale and connecting ring which I’ve added are both sterling.

Measures 3.2cm long, and 2.3cm wide. Weighs 2.8 grams.

Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. Just has the usual marks to the silver which you'd expect on an antique item.
