Victorian Silver, Turquoise and Blister Pearl Lavalier Pendant on Velvet Ribbon

Here I have a beautiful Victorian silver lavalier pendant. It’s set with bright blue turquoise stones in a bow design, with a swag of turquoise below and in the centre of this hangs a drop shaped pendant, with a blister pearl “tear” hanging inside. The pendant is suspended by a short length of chain from a hook bale, which is also set with 3 little turquoise. The whole thing has wonderful movement when you wear it! It came to me on this lovely dusky pink velvet ribbon, so I’m selling it with that, though you could put in on a chain instead. There’s a maker’s initials on the back. No hallmarks but it acid tests as sterling silver.

The total length, with the bale, measures 6.0cm long and it’s 2.1cm across the widest point The ribbon is about 40” so can easily be tied in a bow. Weighs 6 grams.

Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. All the stones are present and they all appear to be original. Some have discoloured with age very slightly but nothing too drastic! Structurally it’s in great order with barely any signs of wear. Overall it is in excellent condition!
