Antique White Metal Watch Chain 16" Long with Indian Silver Coins

£28.00
sold out

This antique watch chain is made from white metal (probably silver plated base metal). It features a tactile snake chain, with a t-bar and dog clip, and at the end of the drop below the t bar are 2 Indian silver coins (these are real silver), a Two Annas from 1892 and a 1/4 Rupee from 1893

The total length of the chain from end to end is 15”. It’s 4mm wide. It weighs 22.9 grams.

Condition: Good uncleaned antique condition. There’s one small dink to the chain just below the tbar. The plating has worn on the dog clip so it looks a bit more yellow in colour than the rest and the ring attaching it to the chain has worn though so a past owner has just bent the ring around to close up the split and make it still useable.
