1927 Sterling Silver and Enamel Pigeon Fob Pendant

£155.00
sold out

This antique fob pendant is made from sterling silver. The front features a beautifully enamelled pigeon in the centre, and the back is engraved with S. Webber and the details of the competition where they won the fob, presumably for their very fine pigeons! There’s a full English silver hallmark at the bottom, from the Chester Assay Office, with the date letter for 1927. The fob has a lovely hefty weight to it and it’s much chunkier than most antique fobs you see.

It measures 4.2cm x 2.9cm. It weighs 20 grams.

Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. No damage to the enamel. Just has the usual surface marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on an antique item.
