Vintage Peruvian 950 Silver Sun Necklace - Inlaid Coral and Shell
Here I have a vintage necklace made of 950 grade silver (a higher grade of silver than sterling!). The pendant is in the form of a figural sun within a circular frame, she is inlaid with coral for the mouth and shell eyes, with tiny onyx pupils, plus a more yellow shell on her forehead. The chain links are also inlaid with coral and shell. It fasten with a hook clasp and is stamped 950 on the back of the pendant.
The sun is 3.1cm wide. The chain is 19” iin total legnth but the extender chain at the end means it can be worn from 17.5” to 19”. Weighs 22.5 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned vintage condition. No missing inlay. Just has the usual marks and tarnish to the silver which you'd expect on a vintage item.
