Antique Victorian Silver & Agate Cannetille Flowers Brooch
Here I have a very fine antique solid silver brooch, set with a grey banded Agate, in an extremely intricate cannetille filigree work surround featuring little flowers, scrolls and filigree leaves. The centre of the agate is rivet-set with a matching floral panel. It's incredibly intricate - the best example I've seen in a long time.
The brooch is unmarked but tests as silver and it fastens with a c-clasp.
Measures 6.6cm by 5.2cm.
It weighs 26.7 grams.
Condition: Very good uncleaned antique condition. The only damage I can spot is one petal missing from one of the little flowers on the panel over the agate.
