sold out

This vintage studio made necklace is made from sterling silver. It’s set with a lovely piece of petrified wood, in a boxy bezel, with stylised reeds to the side. These are decorated with tiny 9ct gold balls, and there’s a pierced leaf design below. Two further reeds at the back of the bezel connect it to the hayseed chain, and it fastens at the end with a bolt ring clasp. There are full UK hallmarks on the back of the bezel, from the Birmingham Assay Office with the date letter for 1979 and the maker’s initials NME or NNE. There are further lion passant stamps on the 2 little silver bars next to the clasp.

The necklace is 15” end to end”. The pendant part is 3.8cm across the bottom. It weighs 17.7 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you'd expect on a vintage item.
