ON HOLD…..Antique Scaredy Black Cat Painted Metal Pot
ON HOLD for P…..
This antique kitty was probably intended to protect your matches originally, but today you could pop anything you want inside! It features a little round pot and to the side is a black cat, with back arched and teeth on show, wearing a yellow bow around its neck. The whole thing is made from painted metal and there’s some rubbing, mostly to the pot rather than the cat, from past use. Photos were taken indoors and outside in direct sunlight.
The cat is 6.8cm high and 6.9cm wide. The pot is 5.7cm wide. Weighs 140 grams.
Condition: Very good antique condition. As mentioned there’s some paint rubbing, mostly to the pot and also a small dent in the bottom of the pot which is only visible if you flip it over and look at the base.
