Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Buffalo Necklace by E. Ohmsatte
This vintage Zuni necklace is made from sterling silver and gemstones. It features a buffalo pendant which is skilfully inlaid with lots of different gemstones. This hangs on a chain of little turquoise nuggets with sterling silver findings on the ends. The pendant has a large bale and can easily slide of the chain if you want to swap it to a different one. It’s signed E. Ohmsatte, Zuni, N.M (New Mexico).
The pendant is 3.8cm wide, by 2.6cm high from toes to back, or 4.4cm long with the bale. The chain can be worn between 16 and 18 inches. With the chain, it weighs 16.2 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. No damage. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you'd expect on a vintage item.
