Antique Gold and Lapis Gemstone Charm / Pendant

£48.00
sold out

This antique charm or pendant is made from a lapis gemstone bead, with gold fittings. The split ring at the top has some stamps but they’re tricky to make out, however it acid tests as gold. The lapis has some very, VERY tiny pyrite inclusions which are near impossible to photograph but you can see one in the last photo, about 1/4 way down the stone sitting in the middle of a pale grey spot.

The total hanging length including ring at the top is 3.3cm (the stone alone is 2.2cm). It weighs 6.4 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. The stone has a few surface scratches and a nibble to one side but it doesn’t detract. Overall, it just has the usual light marks which you’d expect on an antique piece.
