Vintage Unusual Graduated Cloisonne Enamel Ladybirds Necklace on Sterling Silver Chain
This unusual vintage necklace features 7 cloisonne enamel lady birds, suspended below faceted black glass beads, upon a sterling silver chain. There are more glass beads worked along the chain and each ladybird has detail on both the front and back. The metal findings holding the ladybirds, and creating the glass bead links is NOT silver, it looks like brass. The chain itself is silver and this is marked as 925 by the clasp.
The necklace is 17.5” long. The central ladybird is 1.2cm wide. It weighs 15 grams.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. There’s a tiny bit of enamel loss gere and there, and some surface wear to the glass beads, but it doesn’t detract. Overall it just has the usual tarnish and light marks which you’d expect on a vintage item.
