Antique 800 Silver Coiled Snake Springy Bangle Bracelet

£120.00
sold out

This antique bracelet is made from silver. It’s in the form of a snake, with the body forming coils around your arm. The head is nicely detailed with a lovely expression! The silver is unmarked but acid tests as around 800 grade. It dates from circa 1890. At this time, the snake was seen as a symbol of eternity, and it was often used in jewellery to represent everlasting love.

The coils are about 6cm wide across the inside. The head is 8mm wide. It weighs 22.3 grams.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. No dinks, damage or repairs. Just has the usual light marks and tarnish which you’d expect on an antique piece.
