ON HOLD for Ruth….
This antique book chain necklace is made from 10ct gold and it dates from the late Victorian/early Edwardian era. It features a beautiful fancy link chain which fastens with a bolt ring closure, and there’s another larger bolt ring in the centre which was designed too hold a locket (though they look fantastic holding charms too!). There’s a tiny plaque denoting it being 10ct on the end of one of the chains.
The chain measures 19.5” long. The links are 0.3cm wide across the front. The central bolt ring is 1.0cm wide. It weighs 12 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. No damage or repairs and very minimal signs of past use. Both bolt rings are still good and springy. Overall it looks like it’s barely been worn!
