ON HOLD for L….

This antique necklace features an incredible faceted Czech glass drop, in a purple/mauve colour, with engraved bell shaped decorations running down the larger facets on every plane. The cap at the top is silver plated brass, in a filigree design, and it’s set with 2 tiny purple pastes and 2 glass pearls, plus another pearl in the bale. It hangs on a VERY long black moire ribbon. I believe the original owner added the ribbon and carefully stitched it closed at the back. The ribbon is 40” long, and on me, the pendant’s bale lines up with my waist. You could easily shorten it in you prefer! Dates from circa 1910.

The pendant measures 9.4cm long with the bale and 1.7cm across the widest point. It weighs 27.8 grams.

Condition: Very good antique condition. The glass has a few tiny fleabites to the edges here and there but nothing major at all. Overall, it just has the usual light marks which you'd expect on an antique item.
