ON HOLD…..Vintage/Antique Tiny 9ct Yellow Gold BABY Signet Ring Engraved D - Size E 1/2 / US 2.75
This TINY vintage baby signet ring is made from 9ct yellow gold. It’s a very scaled down version of an adult’s signet ring design, with a shield shaped face and engraved forked shoulders, I wonder if it replicated Ma or Pa’s ring? It’s engraved with the letter D on the front and it’s stamped 9ct and some maker’s initials inside the band. I wouldn’t recommend putting it on a baby today but it makes a sweet midi ring if you’ve got slim fingers or wear it on a chain as a charm.
It’s a UK E 1/2 (US 2.75). The front of the ring measures 6.5mm north to south, and the band tapers to 1.5mm at the back. It weighs 0.5 grams.
Condition - Very good vintage condition. The gold just has the usual light marks and wear which you’d expect on a vintage item.
