This vintage 9ct yellow gold ring features a beautiful man-made yellow sapphire, with a sparkly white spinel on either shoulder. The sapphire sits in a raised mount, with pierced detailing below and on the shoulders. It’s a very rich, deep yellow colour - much nicer in real life, my photos don’t really do it justice! It has a full UK hallmark from the London Assay Office, with the date letter for 1969 and the maker’s initials S&W. The photos are taken outside in a mix of shade and bright sunlight.
It’s a UK P (US 7.75). The sapphire is 14mm x 12mm. The spinels are 3mm. It weighs 4.4 grams.
Condition - Very good vintage condition. The sapphire has a very small nibble to edge but it’s only noticeable on very close inspection. The gold is in very good order with just very minimal signs of past use.
